Fivetran is currently hiring a mid-level Accountant for a remote or office-based role within the USA. This mid-level Accounting position sits within Fivetran's growing accounting department, supporting the company's mission to build data pipelines and modern data infrastructure alongside dbt Labs.
Role Responsibilities for the USA Accountant
- Take responsibility for the Serbian entity by executing effective procedures for accurate and reliable financial information.
- Prepare and post journal entries in Netsuite and monitor postings from other functions.
- Perform hands-on month-end close activities and proactively review balances.
- Oversee financial statement preparation under local GAAP and manage US-to-local GAAP reconciliations.
- Support statutory audits, manage outsourced partners, and handle tax, invoicing, and statistical filings including the Serbian SEF portal.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong technical accounting acumen, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally with Tax, FP&A, Legal, and Sales & Marketing teams.
