Manay CPA Inc. is seeking a Senior Level Accounting Associate for a remote accounting position based in the USA, with work hours set to US time zones (Eastern Time). This role offers an opportunity to work fully remote from anywhere in Turkey while supporting a diverse client base across multiple industries with U.S. accounting and tax practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Support client onboarding and manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, monthly closings, and financial reports.
- Prepare payroll, sales tax returns, depreciation schedules, and U.S. corporate and individual income tax returns.
- Assist with audits, reconciliations, financial data analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- Research complex tax and accounting issues and contribute to special projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 20 years of professional background context as noted by the firm's history (note: specific role experience requirement is 2 years in accounting, audit, and/or tax).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A quantitative, analytical mindset with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- A Turkish CPA (SMMM) License, outsource accounting experience, U.S. GAAP experience, and accounting software familiarity are considered strong plus factors.
