Director of Finance - USA (Remote)
Tremendous is seeking a senior-level Director of Finance to join their fully remote team in the USA. In this finance leadership role at a profitable and growing company, you will focus on real financial planning, analysis, and strategy rather than traditional board theater.
Key Responsibilities and Background
- Package the business model and financials for partners, potential acquirers, and outside stakeholders using an investment banking background.
- Own FP&A by maintaining financial models for complex revenue streams and documenting assumptions.
- Support the deal desk by structuring and pricing complex enterprise deals with sales, legal, and product teams.
- Maintain sharp forecasts, automate processes to reduce manual upkeep, and analyze company data for trends and growth opportunities.
- Shape the finance team and set financial operation standards.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of investment banking experience building complex models.
- Bring 4+ years at growth-stage startups (ideally with fintech experience) owning FP&A models, plus direct involvement in $100M+ transactions including at least one investment or acquisition at that scale.
- Demonstrate experience structuring B2B enterprise deals, strong enthusiasm for detailed modeling, and familiarity with Runway for FP&A as a bonus.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary for this remote Director of Finance position is $220,000 to $280,000, complemented by equity. Benefits feature 100% covered health insurance in the US, unlimited PTO, and 12 to 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
