Farm Certification Specialist

CCOF, a recognized nonprofit advancing organic agriculture, is currently seeking a remote Farm Certification Specialist in the USA for a senior-level legal and regulatory compliance role. This full-time position offers a salary range of $57,363 to $60,000. Applications for this Farm Certification Specialist opening will be reviewed beginning September 14, 2026.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

In this remote legal and compliance position, you will support approximately 3,000 farm clients by evaluating inspection reports and mid-year updates against USDA National Organic Program standards. The role involves making autonomous compliance decisions regarding land history, crop rotation, soil management, input materials, and labeling, alongside maintaining accurate records in CCOF's proprietary database and providing technical customer service.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, agriculture, or a related field.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
