Field Sales Consultant (Self-Employed) in Sofia
SumUp is expanding its presence in Bulgaria and looking for a Field Sales Consultant (self-employed) in Sofia to join our sales team. In this entry-level field sales role, you will act as the local face of SumUp, working autonomously to help small and medium-sized businesses accept payments easily and affordably.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and manage your own portfolio of merchants in Sofia, focusing on retail, hospitality, and restaurant sectors.
- Meet business owners in person to demonstrate SumUp payment devices and solutions.
- Acquire new merchants, guide them through registration, and help them start processing transactions quickly.
- Plan and manage your assigned territory independently while tracking your activity to meet monthly activation goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of experience in B2B/SMB sales, preferably within retail or hospitality.
- Willingness to work as a self-employed professional on a commission model (minimum 3 full working days per week).
- Comfort with door-to-door field visits and a proven ability to close deals independently.
- Strong relationship-building skills with fluent Bulgarian and working English proficiency.
Compensation includes market competitive commission structures, a guaranteed starting income for the first three months, and ongoing bonuses based on performance.
