About the Role

Dutchie is hiring a Financial Operations Intern for an accounting internship based in the USA. Founded in 2017, Dutchie is a leading technology platform powering dispensary operations across thousands of dispensaries in 40+ markets, backed by notable investors and recognized for innovation. In this part-time role at approximately 30 hours per week, you will report to the Revenue Lead and gain hands-on exposure to billing, cash application, collections, and partner payment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support collections efforts and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts for accurate record-keeping.
• Prepare payment status reports, handle cash reconciliations, and support month-end close activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Business Systems, and Collections teams to resolve payment inquiries and assist with audits.
• Contribute to order-to-cash process improvements and handle billing support requests through Zendesk.

Requirements and Compensation

Applicants should be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with no prior experience required. You will need strong attention to detail, good communication skills, effective time management, and Microsoft Excel proficiency, with familiarity in tools like Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Zuora, Zendesk, or AI-powered tools considered a plus.

This temporary, hourly Financial Operations Intern position pays $18–$25 per hour and includes company-provided technology. Dutchie provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants.
