CourseCareers is seeking an experienced professional for a part-time HVAC Career Coach role within the mechanic and skilled trades field. This mid-level, flexible position is designed for knowledgeable technicians who want to mentor career changers looking to break into the industry without returning to school. Because this is not a traditional employment position with guaranteed hours, it functions best as a paid workshop and side-coaching opportunity.

Role Responsibilities and Structure

• Host one live, one-hour seminar-style workshop per month
• Share practical insight regarding entry-level HVAC positions, certifications such as EPA 608, and local apprenticeship pathways
• Answer student questions regarding the job search and trade careers
• Offer optional private 1:1 coaching to interested students

Requirements and Availability

Applicants must possess a minimum of three years of professional HVAC background across residential, commercial, or industrial settings, alongside a primary or matric education level. Strong communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and an interest in teaching are essential. Candidates must also be available at least three evenings per week—ideally Tuesday through Thursday—to set their own schedules and lead sessions independently.

Compensation and Earnings

Compensation includes a guaranteed payment of $50 for each one-hour monthly workshop hosted. Additional earnings depend entirely on unlimited upside from private 1:1 coaching sessions, with no quotas, caps, or conversion requirements.
