Internal Control Manager Management Role in APAC, Europe, and UAE at Binance

Binance, the global blockchain ecosystem operating the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and registered users, is looking for an Internal Control Manager for a management position. This role offers a work-from-home arrangement, though specific arrangements may vary depending on business team needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct comprehensive internal control reviews to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Support regulatory examinations and respond to external audit inquiries effectively.
• Monitor internal control issues and actions, partnering with action owners to ensure timely closure of findings.
• Maintain and utilize Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems, with AuditBoard experience considered a plus.
• Collaborate across functions and teams to promote a strong risk and control culture.
• Assist in continuous improvement of internal control processes and documentation.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and bring a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in internal audit and/or industry internal controls. Candidates need working experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and a solid understanding of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting, covering both process/business controls and IT controls. A background in crypto, fintech, or related financial services is highly beneficial, as is previous experience in large publicly listed organizations or high-growth scale-ups preparing for listing. External audit experience, professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA, and multilingual abilities are preferred advantages.
