Remote Customer Service Representative (Licensed)
Got your P&C license and a knack for talking people through tricky situations? We need you in our Customer Response Center.
This is a customer-facing role supporting policyholders and agents across our Personal Lines products. Most days you're on the phone (or in a chat window) walking someone through their policy, fixing what's wrong, or just answering the question they couldn't find the answer to online. You'll be trusted to handle most of it yourself. When something's above your pay grade, you'll know to hand it off rather than wing it. That's really the whole job — keep people satisfied enough that they stick around, and do it well enough that the business grows because of it.
Training comes first
Before any of that, there's training: Monday through Friday, 9 to 5:30 EST, full time, no exceptions. We say this every time and we mean it — people who treat training casually tend to struggle once they're on the floor solo. Show up, pay attention, ask questions.
After training, your shift shifts (sorry) to somewhere between 11:30 and 1:30 EST to start. You'll also be on a weekend rotation — one Saturday or Sunday a week — and you'll get a weekday off to balance it out.
The home office part
We send you the equipment. You bring a wired internet connection — 5 Mbps up, 25 down, minimum — and somewhere quiet enough to actually concentrate. Not negotiable if you've got a noisy household; this job requires real focus.
What we're looking for
Active P&C Producer's license. No license, no role — sorry, this is the one hard line.
2+ years doing customer service somewhere, anywhere.
Associate's degree or a year of insurance experience helps, but isn't required.
You can take messy, unstructured information and actually make sense of it.
You communicate well, on the phone and in writing, and people generally like talking to you.
One more thing: we're not hiring in NY, CA, AK, HI, NM, or IL right now.
Pay
What you'd start at depends on your background — experience, skills, education, certifications, and where you're located all factor in. Some roles here also include commission or bonus structures on top of base pay, depending on the position.
