Licensed Customer Service Representative

Liberty Mutual is currently hiring a remote Licensed Customer Service Representative for an entry-level customer service position based in the USA, offering a salary range of $45k to $65k. Please note that the company is not currently hiring applicants residing in NY, CA, AK, HI, NM, or IL.

Role Expectations and Setup

In this customer-facing role, you will support policyholders and agents across Personal Lines products primarily via phone and chat. Responsibilities include walking people through their policies, answering questions, and resolving issues. Liberty Mutual supplies the necessary equipment, but you must provide a quiet workspace and a wired internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up.

Schedule and Training

Initial training is full-time, running Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST with no exceptions. Following training, your regular shift will start between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM EST. You will also participate in a weekend rotation requiring you to work one Saturday or Sunday per week, compensated with a weekday off.

Qualifications

• Active P&C Producer's license (mandatory requirement)
• 2+ years of customer service experience in any field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clarify unstructured information
• An Associate's degree or one year of insurance experience is helpful but not required

Starting pay depends on your background, including experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and certain positions may include commission or bonus structures.
