Technical Problem Solver Expert - Red X

TE Connectivity is looking for a Senior Level Technical Problem Solver Expert - Red X to work remotely within the USA. In this mechanic and technical problem-solving role, you will lead the resolution of complex, high-impact issues using structured methodologies like Shainin Red X and Six Sigma to drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.

Role Responsibilities and Impact

• Solve complex technical problems and lead cross-functional teams applying structured methodologies.
• Define priorities, anticipate roadblocks, and ensure rigor and governance of problem-solving methods.
• Coach and develop Problem Solver Practitioners while selecting high-impact projects across plants or business units.
• Report project progress, savings, and people development to Senior Management.
• Reduce Cost of Poor Quality, improve product quality, and strengthen the problem-solving culture.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must hold an Engineering degree (such as Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Physical, or related) and a Masters education level, alongside a mandatory Shainin Red X Journeyman or Master certification. Applicants need 5–10 years of experience in technical problem solving, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of resolving complex technical issues. A Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is preferred, along with statistical analysis application using tools like Minitab or JMP.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive base salary for this position ranges from $130,400 to $163,000, subject to change based on physical location, experience, qualifications, and internal or external equity. Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package featuring health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and voluntary benefits.
