Carrot, a leading global fertility and family care platform, is seeking a mid-level Telemedicine Registered Nurse (RN), Consultant to join its fully remote nursing team in the USA. This contractor engagement offers an hourly rate of $40 to $50 per hour for approximately 20 to 40 hours per week, with scheduled shifts falling within the Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 CST coverage window.
Role Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional nursing experience.
- Active, unrestricted RN license with NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) multi-state privileges in good standing.
- Ability to deliver evidence-based virtual care within the standard RN scope of practice.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary clinical touchpoint for members navigating fertility, menopause, hormonal, and metabolic health.
- Provide triage, patient education, care coordination, and same-day clinical documentation.
- Review lab results, manage prior authorizations, handle pharmacy callbacks, and coordinate specialist referrals.
- Escalate clinical matters requiring advanced judgment to a physician according to established protocols.
