Atlassian Platform Architect

Datavant is seeking an experienced Atlassian Platform Architect for a remote architecture role within the USA. This senior-level position offers a salary of $160,000 and requires a Bachelor's degree alongside 6-8 years of experience leading Jira and the Atlassian ecosystem within a large or complex organization.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As the Atlassian Platform Architect in the USA, you will own the technical direction, architecture, health, and evolution of Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and the broader Atlassian ecosystem. This is a hands-on senior role where you will define target architectures, technical strategies, roadmaps, and governance standards. You will personally design and implement complex solutions using Jira Automation, Rovo, ScriptRunner, REST APIs, webhooks, and Marketplace apps, while leading platform remediation, consolidation, migration, and integration initiatives. Additionally, you will partner with IT, Security, Privacy, Compliance, Enterprise Systems, Product, and Engineering, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to Jira administrators.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• 6-8 years experience leading Jira and the Atlassian ecosystem within a large or complex organization
• Deep hands-on Jira Cloud and JSM expertise across workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, automation, security, and project configuration
• Strong technical experience
