Bayesian Health is seeking a Senior Level Infrastructure Engineer for an engineering role based in the USA. In this position, you will build and maintain the networking and infrastructure for the Bayesian platform, creating CI/CD pipelines to help software engineers and data scientists accelerate their development while driving the expansion of clinical AI/ML modules and health system implementations.
Key Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer
- Design cost-optimized, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure for scale and manage cloud costs.
- Streamline development and deployment by defining branching strategies and building GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish infrastructure best practices, creating templates like Terraform modules and educating team members.
- Monitor system performance, apply software upgrades, and collaborate on troubleshooting.
- Partner with the SecOps engineer to secure infrastructure and comply with HIPAA, HITRUST, FDA, and client requirements.
- Architect and build a secure internal AI Ops platform to host and manage AI/ML agents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS as an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes (preferably EKS) and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Deep expertise in Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code, plus familiarity with Datadog and CircleCI.
- Experience building infrastructure handling sensitive data containing PHI/PII within a startup environment.
