Role Responsibilities and Technical Focus
- Conduct manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and enhancements across web and mobile applications.
- Design and execute test plans, exploratory sessions, regression testing, and automated test suites using TypeScript and Playwright.
- Utilize AI-assisted and agentic coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor to accelerate test authoring, debug code, auto-generate test scaffolding, and self-heal flaky selectors.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.
- Track software defects using Jira and Zephyr, perform API and backend database testing, and apply a strong understanding of SQL.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience covering both manual testing and test automation for web and mobile platforms.
- Demonstrated experience building end-to-end tests with TypeScript and Playwright, developing automation frameworks, and working with React for web applications.
- Practical background using AI coding assistants and integrating tests within CI/CD environments.
