Senior Android SDK Engineer

RevenueCat is hiring a Senior Android SDK Engineer for an engineering position available in the USA, Canada, LATAM, and EMEA regions. As a remote-first company of over 120 people across 25 countries, RevenueCat powers in-app subscriptions for more than 40% of newly shipped subscription apps and processes over $10 billion in annual purchase volume.

About the Role

In this senior-level role, you will design, build, ship, and support end-to-end features for our Android SDK, while occasionally contributing to iOS and hybrid SDKs. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software experience, including a history of shipping mobile apps to the Google Play Store.

• Strong expertise in Android, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience shipping high-quality code through testing practices and iterative cycles.
• Desire and excitement to work on iOS and hybrid platforms, with bonus consideration for Swift, SwiftUI, SDK building, server-driven UI, Python or backend development, and apps shipped to the App Store.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills suited for a fully remote culture.

What to Expect

Your first month will involve learning the SDK ecosystem, opening your first pull request, and shipping your initial project for use by over 32,000 apps. Within three months, you will work self-sufficiently and contribute to codebase reliability. By six months, you will drive code improvements and ship major features. Over 12 months, you will become a key product owner, help mentor new engineers, and guide technical direction.

Compensation includes a salary of $2,000 alongside competitive equity in a Series C startup.
