OQ is currently seeking an entry-level candidate to join the team as a Sr./Area Engineer Electrical Maintenance for the NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) operations. This role is based in Oman and is aligned with the Liwa Plastics Operations (NGLE) Maintenance department. This is a specialized position focused on electrical maintenance functions within the RPI stream.

As an early-career engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance operations of electrical systems within the NGL facility. This role involves direct engagement with the Liwa Plastics operational infrastructure, requiring a proactive approach to maintaining the integrity and performance of electrical assets on-site.

Key Position Requirements

To be considered for this Electrical Engineering position in Oman, candidates must meet the following educational and experience criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• Experience: This is designated as an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or professionals with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.

The successful candidate will work within the Maintenance function, contributing to the operational efficiency of the NGL facility. The role includes responsibilities related to budget control, specifically overseeing OPEX and/or CAPEX expenditures as required by the maintenance department's objectives.
