Veeam Software is seeking a senior-level Sr Systems Engineer - Federal/DOD to join our engineering team in the USA. Due to business needs, candidates must reside in the DC/MD/VA area for this remote position. The salary for this senior role is $202,000.
In this position, you will work closely with the federal sales department and engineering management to educate partners, resellers, and end users on our product offerings. You will deliver presentations and demonstrations to decision-makers within the DoD, create technical content, and support sales efforts through architectural strategies.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and bring 5+ years of experience. Candidates need an active Top Secret Clearance and federal mission or program experience within the DoD or IC. Technical proficiency is required across virtualization platforms, cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud government clouds, enterprise applications, backup and DR strategies, backup storage, NIST 800, STIG, AI platforms, FedRAMP, and the ATO process. Industry-based experience in data protection, data life-cycle management, IT audit requirements, and Federal System Integrators is necessary, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Industry relevant professional certifications are desirable.
