Staff Engineer, Builder Enablement

NBCUniversal is seeking a senior-level Staff Engineer, Builder Enablement for an engineering role based in the USA. Role Expectations and Responsibilities

• Translate common engineering needs into reusable solutions that reduce friction and accelerate time-to-value.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation, reference architectures, code templates, Infrastructure-as-Code modules, and self-service tools.
• Partner with architects and service owners to turn principles into practical, adoptable implementations.
• Leverage modern AI tools, such as agent-based workflows and prompt-driven interfaces, to help developers build and operate systems more effectively.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants for this Staff Engineer, Builder Enablement position must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in the engineering field. Candidates should have a strong focus on usability, developer adoption, and creating consistent, scalable platform experiences.
