Axiom is hiring an entry-level ZK Proof Engineer for an engineering role based in the USA, with a strong preference for in-person work at our NYC office alongside open options for remote candidates. This position is suited for individuals with a PhD or specialized diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience who want to build verifiable and private software applications using zero-knowledge proofs.
What You Will Do
- Implement and optimize cutting-edge cryptographic code for zero-knowledge proof generation.
- Build systems interfacing low-level computer systems like RISC-V ISA, compiler frameworks like LLVM, and database backends with ZK proof systems.
- Optimize ZK provers and implement novel ZK circuits while ensuring secure and efficient system design.
Requirements and Background
- Education: PhD or specialized diploma.
- Experience: 0-2 years of professional background.
- Strong background in math or cryptography, or robust problem-solving skills with a deep interest in zero-knowledge proofs.
- Proficiency in Rust, C/C++, or a similarly performant backend language (our primary language is Rust).
- Detail-oriented approach with a security mindset, strong engineering design skills, and an eye for performance.
