SmithRx, a growing health-tech company transforming the Pharmacy Benefit Management sector, is seeking a mid-level Benefits Configuration Analyst in the USA to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support cross-functional implementations and build, manage, and maintain accurate pharmacy benefit plans across various platforms to deliver a high-quality product.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to identify and understand specific benefit plan requirements.
- Build, maintain, and organize pharmacy benefit plans and structure while monitoring data integrity.
- Maintain prior authorizations, step therapy rules, formulary updates, and transition new clients.
- Support new client implementations with go-live testing and post-auditing to ensure configuration accuracy.
- Troubleshoot claims adjudication processes and partner with member support and customer success teams to resolve benefit inquiries.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and workflow efficiency.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in payer/claims and benefit configuration.
- Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and effective communication skills.
- A self-starter, execution-focused mindset with the ability to solve problems creatively under pressure.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a salary of $66,300, alongside comprehensive wellness benefits including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
