Language Services Associates is currently seeking candidates for an International Audio/Video Remote Afghani/Dari Interpreter internship within the customer service field. This remote opportunity allows you to work from anywhere as part of LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, facilitating communication for the Limited English Proficient community during on-demand audio and video calls.

Remote Afghani/Dari Interpreter Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner and deliver superior customer service.
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Follow all company policies, professional interpretation protocols, and industry-specific best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Full fluency in both English and Afghani/Dari.
• Technology proficiency with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word.
• Access to a quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications or trainings, such as CMI or CCHI, are preferred.
