International Audio/Video Remote Karen and Thai Interpreter

Language Services Associates is looking for an International Audio/Video Remote Karen and Thai Interpreter to join their network of Independently Contracted Interpreters in customer service. This remote internship role allows you to work from anywhere while facilitating communication for the Limited English Proficient community through on-demand audio and video calls.

Key Responsibilities for Karen and Thai Interpreters

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting using a web-based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service.
• Adhere strictly to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Follow all organizational policies, professional interpretation protocols, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Full fluency in English, Karen, and Thai.
• Technology proficiency, including familiarity with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word.
• Access to a quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications or trainings, such as CMI or CCHI, are preferred.
