Senior Manager, SEO/AEO at AssetWatch

AssetWatch is looking for a Senior Manager, SEO/AEO to join our marketing team in the USA. We are an AI-driven industrial IoT condition monitoring platform that helps global manufacturers reduce unplanned downtime by combining wireless sensor technology with 24/7 AI monitoring and expert engineering support. As we enter a phase of rapid growth, we need a strategist to build our organic channel from the ground up and transform it into a reliable, compounding pipeline asset.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will act as the primary architect for our organic search and Answer Engine Optimization efforts, working directly with our Webmaster and Content Manager to execute your vision. We are looking for someone who engages daily with organic traffic, keyword movement, and conversion data to drive measurable revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability

You will be responsible for the full organic search roadmap, with direct accountability for MQLs, pipeline value, and influenced revenue. Your core focus areas will include:

• Keyword Architecture: Developing a comprehensive search strategy across our five target verticals and core product pillars, mapped specifically to buyer stage, search intent, and conversion potential.
• Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): Positioning AssetWatch to earn citations in AI-generated answers on platforms like Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, ensuring we appear authoritatively to reliability engineers and plant managers.
• Technical SEO: Defining and overseeing all technical specifications to ensure site health and performance.
• Performance Reporting: Providing monthly performance updates and quarterly roadmap reviews to the Director of Demand Generation and CRO, focused on revenue-based attribution.
• Competitive Strategy: Executing a displacement strategy against competitors and new entrants in the condition monitoring space.

Requirements

To be considered for this senior-level position, you must hold a Master’s degree and possess at least 5 years of relevant experience. You should be comfortable building and maintaining a living roadmap that connects rankings and clicks directly to business outcomes.
