Android Engineer (C++) Job in APAC at Binance
Binance is seeking a senior-level Android Engineer (C++) to join its IT team in the APAC region. This senior position requires a Master's degree and 8+ years of solid software development experience, focusing on mobile or cross-platform development.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement cross-platform mobile features for Android and iOS using modern C++.
- Develop new features for an in-house mobile browser kernel based on Chromium and a mobile game engine based on OpenGL ES.
- Explore, integrate, and optimize on-device AI capabilities, including LLMs, intelligent agents, and inference components.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver features, integrate third-party data sources and SDKs, write unit tests, and troubleshoot performance issues.
Technical Requirements
- Strong C++ development experience (C++14 and above), Linux memory management, POSIX APIs, and computer networks.
- Familiarity with Android internals, SurfaceFlinger, rendering pipelines, and iOS system architecture.
- Understanding of OpenGL/OpenGL ES principles, mobile graphics rendering, and modern AI architectures like Transformers.
- Knowledge of on-device and edge AI, including model deployment, inference, quantization, and performance optimization.
