Recorded Future, Inc. is seeking an APJ Accounting Manager for a senior-level remote Accounting job in Australia. In this role, you will report to the Manager of International Accounting and lead APJ accounting operations across Australia, India, Japan, and Singapore. You will act as the day-to-day owner of delivery, ensuring regional outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with group requirements and SOX standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the timely and accurate delivery of the APJ month-end close, including reconciliations, journals, and schedules.
- Manage relationships and performance with external outsourced providers against SLAs and KPIs.
- Oversee statutory financial statement preparation, local compliance, GAAP requirements, and audit coordination.
- Provide direct leadership and clear prioritisation for the APJ Accountant.
- Handle cash flow, intercompany positions, and indirect tax return reviews.
- Maintain strict adherence to SOX controls while driving continuous process improvements and systems adoption.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Qualified accountant holding a CA, CPA, or ACCA designation.
- 5+ years of significant experience in multi-entity, multi-country accounting.
- Demonstrated background in managing outsourced providers and working within SOX environments.
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
