About saas.group

We're the people behind some of the software you probably already use and like. Founded in 2017, saas.group buys promising B2B SaaS businesses and helps them grow into category leaders. We're a fully remote team — close to 380 people across more than 50 countries — and we now have 25 brands in the portfolio.

The Role

You'd be stepping in to lead one of our brands — a well-known, fast-growing B2B SaaS business that's earned a strong spot in its category and has real momentum behind it. The outgoing CEO took over when the company was still small, grew it considerably, and is leaving it in good shape: visible, healthy, and ready for whatever comes next.

What we need now is someone who can take that foundation and build the next chapter — push the product upmarket, go deeper on what it offers, and figure out what it actually means to lead this category over the coming years. You'll have full ownership of the brand's P&L, strategy, growth, and culture, and you'll work closely with saas.group's leadership team, your board sponsor, and the wider community of brand leaders.

What success looks like in the first 3–6 months


A clean handover from the outgoing CEO, with solid working relationships built across the leadership team and the broader org.
A clear point of view on where the brand goes next — one you've stress-tested and aligned on with your board sponsor.
Faster shipping. We want to see the team settle into a real delivery rhythm and start moving the needle on adoption of a key new product.
A major new growth bet brought to market and proven out as something real, not just an experiment.


What you'll own


Setting a multi-year vision for the brand that fits within saas.group's broader goals, while staying sharp about a market that moves fast.
Taking the product upmarket — evolving the positioning, the product, and the go-to-market motion to win bigger customers, without losing the simplicity that's made the product work in the first place.
Holding the team to a high bar on shipping speed and consistency.
Turning our newest growth engines from early signs of traction into real, durable revenue.
Commercial performance end to end — new revenue across PLG, inbound, and sales-led channels, with retention treated as seriously as growth.
Running the business side properly: P&L, budgets, the KPIs that actually matter, and the processes needed to scale without things falling apart.
Keeping an eye on where the market's heading — AI especially, both as something our customers care about and as a tool we use ourselves — and being willing to test new models and make calls based on data.
Building and keeping a strong, fully remote leadership team, shaping a culture that reflects saas.group's values, and representing the brand well with customers, partners, and the wider PLG SaaS world.


What we're looking for


You've led as a CEO, GM, or senior exec at a B2B PLG SaaS company before, and you have real results to show for it — growth you drove, a business you helped build to last.
You know how to build and execute strategy across PLG, sales-led, and partnership motions, and you can make the hard market and product calls when it counts.
You've taken a product upmarket before — you understand how to add enterprise-grade depth without making the product harder to love.
You ship. You know how to set a fast pace and keep a team there sustainably, not just in bursts.
You're financially fluent — budgeting, forecasting, full P&L ownership. Bonus points if you know your way around payments, payouts, or fintech-adjacent products.
You're comfortable with the PLG growth toolkit, and ideally you've worked in or around the AI customer segment.
People want to work for you. You're good at hiring, developing, and keeping strong performers on a remote team, setting clear goals, holding people accountable, and dealing with performance issues directly when you need to.
You actually use AI in your own work — not just talk about it — and you're curious about where it's headed. You communicate clearly, and your English is strong.
