Core Responsibilities for the IT Role

• Partner directly with customers across remote sessions, ticketing, and live conversations to resolve technical roadblocks.
• Work with internal engineering teams and regional peer groups to connect code fixes with customer satisfaction.
• Manage support cases with personal integrity and transparent communication.
• Provide Ubuntu lifecycle guidance, giving customers context on engineering fix timelines.
• Author and maintain knowledge base articles for the open-source community.
• Participate in a regular weekend working rotation for global partner continuity.

Requirements

Candidates need exceptional written and spoken English, a passion for helping people, and an exceptional academic track record from high school and university. An undergraduate degree in a technical subject is required, along with practical, hands-on experience supporting Linux systems and exposure to areas such as virtualization, containers, storage ecosystems, and system networking.
