Director, Global Solutions Engineering

UpGuard is seeking a Director, Global Solutions Engineering for a senior-level engineering role based in Australia. Backed by a recent US$75M Series C, UpGuard is scaling its infrastructure to process 100 billion risk signals daily and redefining how organizations manage cyber risk through its AI-driven Cyber Risk Posture Management platform.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As the Director of Global Solutions Engineering, you will lead the technical engine behind the revenue organization and report directly to the CRO. This is a manager-of-managers position overseeing a global, two-part function:

• Pre-Sales: Leading the Sales Engineering team to drive pipeline conversion via technical discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and value engineering.
• Post-Sales: Managing Solutions Consultants who serve as the technical escalation path for customer success teams and drive technical cross-sell.

Additional responsibilities include scaling RFP and security assessment functions, technically enabling channel partners, partnering with Enablement on training and playbooks, acting as the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering, and contributing to go-to-market strategy, forecasting, and capacity planning. While this is a strategic leadership role, you must also be willing to jump into high-stakes customer calls hands-on when it counts.

Candidate Requirements

• Education required: Bachelors degree.
• Experience level: Fresh (with a focus on track record in building and running world-class technical teams serving technical customers).
• Salary: $1500.
