Director of Product Marketing in the USA

Help Scout is looking for a senior-level Director of Product Marketing to join our remote team in the USA. In this senior marketing role, you will own the positioning, narrative, and go-to-market strategy that defines our platform in a crowded market. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will manage our Lead Product Marketing Manager and help build the team's roadmap for headcount and capability over the next 12 to 18 months.

Role Responsibilities and Expectations

• Set and execute quarterly and long-term product marketing strategy based on market trends and competitive analytics.
• Build and scale the product marketing function by setting priorities and coaching team members.
• Enable sales, support, and other teammates to clearly articulate product value to drive new revenue and expansion.
• Shape strategic competitive intelligence to guide product-led growth and sales.
• Own major product launches and seasonal release events end-to-end across departments.
• Represent Help Scout's product story externally through podcasts, guest posts, social channels, and more.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. You need significant background in product marketing for a B2B SaaS product or AI platform, proven experience managing people, and expertise in core disciplines such as messaging, positioning, buyer personas, sales enablement, and launches. This remote position is open exclusively to US-based applicants and offers a salary of $300 a month.
