Sutherland is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer – Node.js & React (Bulgaria based) to join their IT team in Bulgaria. This remote position involves building cloud-native web systems that support applications tied to life-saving therapies, giving you a genuine voice in system architecture and scaling.

Key Responsibilities for the Bulgaria IT Role

• Design and ship full-stack applications using React and Node.js, including backend services and APIs.
• Write thorough unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest and Playwright.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Product, and DevOps teams while embedding performance and security from the start.
• Modernize legacy code, participate in code reviews and sprint planning, and stay current with AI-assisted tooling and web development.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for this senior-level role, applicants need real production experience with React and Node.js, supported by solid fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS or LESS. You should also bring experience building and consuming RESTful APIs—with GraphQL considered a plus—alongside data layers such as PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
