International Audio/Video Remote Georgian Interpreter

Language Services Associates is looking for an International Audio/Video Remote Georgian Interpreter to join their network of independently contracted interpreters on a remote, anywhere basis. In this internship-level IT role, you will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient community by handling on-demand audio and video calls across various settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct
• Follow all organizational policies, professional interpretation protocols, and industry best practices

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Full fluency in both English and Georgian
• Technology proficiency with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• A quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noises
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, along with industry-specific certifications or trainings such as CMI or CCHI
