.NET Software Architect

Zartis, a global technology consulting partner, is seeking a senior-level .NET Software Architect for an IT project in the Fintech industry, based across Europe. This senior role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, with a market competitive salary.

About the .NET Software Architect Role

You will join a distributed team modernizing a core banking and reconciliation platform for a global private equity firm managing over 60 portfolio companies. The project involves transitioning a tightly-coupled .NET monolith into an MVC architecture utilizing ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, and Telerik. Responsibilities include migrating hundreds of business rules onto a test-driven validation layer, integrating with 15 to 20 remote databases on Azure, and hardening the API layer toward full REST implementation.

Requirements and Technical Expertise

• Strong, current C# and .NET expertise, including Azure, ASP.NET Core/MVC, Razor Pages, Telerik UI components, and MS SQL Server.
• Proven experience executing legacy-to-modern migrations and monolith-to-MVC architecture on tightly-coupled codebases.
• Track record of strong stakeholder management and clear, proactive communication in senior or principal engineering roles within regulated financial services or private equity environments.
• Hands-on fluency with AI-augmented, agentic engineering workflows such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to drive quality through shift-left QA efforts, including Playwright automation, SonarQube quality gates, and Three Amigos sessions.
