UpGuard is seeking a Senior Level Product Data Science Lead for our IT team in Australia. In this autonomous, lead role reporting to the Director of Analytics, you will own product analytics end-to-end to support our Cyber Risk Posture Management platform as we scale infrastructure to process 100 billion risk signals daily.
Responsibilities for the Product Data Science Lead in Australia
- Generate actionable insights from complex product and usage data to inform roadmap prioritisation and feature investment.
- Partner with Product Managers, Operations, Design, Engineering, and Success to translate evolving requirements into clear analytics deliverables.
- Design, define, and maintain product KPIs and engagement milestones covering activation, onboarding, and ongoing engagement.
- Build metrics, models, and dashboards for the product funnel across onboarding, activation, feature adoption, and retention.
- Collaborate with data engineering to construct foundational product data assets, dbt models, and a governed semantic layer for humans and AI agents.
- Build user-friendly dashboards for engagement health and feature adoption using design thinking principles.
- Conduct hands-on technical analysis to diagnose complex product challenges.
Requirements
- Education required: Bachelors degree.
- Experience required: 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Salary: $1500.
