Python Backend Engineer (m/f/x) IT Remote Job
Makersite GmbH is looking for a mid-level Python Backend Engineer (m/f/x) for a remote IT position. Successful applicants are required to be based in Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, London, or Porto, or generally located in Germany or Europe. This is a fixed, permanent position offering a permanent employment contract.
What You Will Do
- Help create functional requirements together with customers and speak with them clearly to understand needs.
- Collaborate with UX designers and front-end engineers to develop, implement, and integrate requirements with REST APIs.
- Build efficient data-powered REST APIs in Python using frameworks like Flask or Bottle, alongside Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Build end-to-end data pipelines with complex data and AI models needed for your APIs.
- Contribute to testing, bug fixes, and work with databases and SQL, preferably graph databases.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Python backend developer, ideally with 2 or more years in a B2B environment.
- Experience building large, enterprise-grade applications.
