QA Engineer (IT) in Europe

Workwize, recognized as one of the Top 10 Startups for 2025 in the Netherlands by LinkedIn, is seeking a Mid Level QA Engineer to join their IT team. Operating across Europe with a platform serving 50,000 users and 120,000 devices, Workwize simplifies hardware deployment and management for remote global teams.

Role Overview and Testing Responsibilities

In this mid level IT role, you will enhance the quality of the Workwize platform by elevating system functionality, collaborating closely with developers, and driving a shift-left testing approach. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Developing, documenting, and maintaining a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with the product roadmap.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated end-to-end and integration tests for Laravel and React applications using Cypress and Playwright.
• Building and managing API test suites using Postman to validate backend functionality and reliability.
• Managing bugs, incidents, and root cause analysis while scaling test automation infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
• Mandatory experience with automation testing, testing methodologies, and tools.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, PHP, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and AWS services (considered a plus).
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and excellent communication and documentation skills.
