Lemon.io is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their international network, connecting skilled IT professionals with startups based in the US and Europe. This is a fully remote position available to engineers residing in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
As a member of this marketplace, you are matched with startups, allowing you to focus on technical architecture while the platform manages client acquisition and rate negotiations. The work environment is built on trust; there is no micromanagement or screen tracking. You will communicate directly with clients, most of whom possess technical backgrounds, and you are free to set a schedule that allows for asynchronous communication or minimal overlap with team hours.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Beyond the technical stack, we expect the ability to create projects from scratch and a deep understanding of application architecture. Advanced English proficiency is required to effectively discuss business tasks, justify technical decisions, and handle client calls. As this is a remote role, you must demonstrate strong self-organization, reliability, and the flexibility to onboard and deliver results quickly.
