Vercel, the agentic infrastructure company behind Next.js, v0, and the AI SDK, is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Architect in Sydney, Australia. This senior-level architecture role offers an on-target earnings pay range of $280,000 to $350,000 AUD, backed by a comprehensive compensation package that includes equity, inclusive healthcare, flexible time off, a work-from-home budget, and necessary gear.
In this position, you will lead, develop, and manage the APAC Solutions Architect team, driving technical excellence across the entire pre- and post-sales cycle. You will provide hands-on support for key accounts through architecture reviews and migration plans, partner closely with sales leadership to win new business, and collaborate with engineering to channel product feedback from the field. Additional responsibilities include managing regional recruiting, budgeting, and organizational planning.
To qualify for this senior position, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and bring at least 8 years of experience in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or Solutions Architecture, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. Candidates need a strong background in web technologies such as Next.js, React, Node.js, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, alongside a proven ability to scale technical teams in high-growth environments. Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams is essential for driving customer success across commercial and enterprise accounts.
