Technical Sales Specialist – AEC (ANZ)

About the Role

Autodesk is currently seeking a senior-level Technical Sales Specialist – AEC (ANZ) for a sales position based in Australia within the APAC region. In this enterprise-focused role, you will function as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating closely with Enterprise Account Executives and Customer Success teams to design, validate, and demonstrate solutions matching customer business goals. While the position primarily supports the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) industry, professionals with expertise in AI, Data Management, or Platform Services are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced technical engagements and deliver customized product presentations.
• Manage proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot projects while resolving technical objections during evaluations.
• Develop technical components for enterprise proposals and create reusable enablement resources.
• Channel valuable customer feedback directly to Product Marketing and Engineering teams.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Bring 5 to 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing role.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to support enterprise customers with complex, multi-product technology solutions and present effectively to executive stakeholders.
• Have experience leading product demonstrations and technical workshops, with a preferred background in Autodesk-related industries such as AEC, AI, or Data Science.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this Australia-based Technical Sales Specialist role ranges from $90k to $180k, with final pay determined by experience, location, and job responsibilities. Eligible employees may additionally receive annual bonuses, sales commissions, stock awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
