Account Executive, Existing Business - Financial Services

AlphaSense is seeking a senior-level Account Executive, Existing Business - Financial Services to join our US sales team. In this USA-based sales role, you will focus on growing existing client relationships and expanding our market presence by targeting hedge funds, asset managers, investment bankers, and sell-side research departments.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 5+ years of professional experience. Reporting to the Sales Director, successful applicants will bring the following background:

• Experience selling to the financial marketplace on both the buy side and sell side, ideally within SaaS technology, financial information, or research organizations.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets, prospecting, and building robust pipelines.
• Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex issues simply.
• Flexibility to travel to clients on a monthly or quarterly basis depending on business needs.

Role Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, Existing Business - Financial Services, you will drive end-to-end sales processes centered on upselling current client accounts. This involves initiating discussions, prospecting new teams, conducting demos, and managing product trials alongside our Product Specialist team. You will also maintain accurate forecasts, partner with marketing to boost brand awareness, and relay essential client feedback to our product management and content teams.

The base compensation for this role is $99,000, determined using standard ranges benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies and internal comparables.
