Customer Growth Manager (m/f/d) in Munich – Management Role at DataGuard

DataGuard is seeking a Senior Level Customer Growth Manager (m/f/d) for its Munich office to join the team as one of the company's first Account Managers. In this management role, you will take full ownership of a selected customer portfolio with significant growth potential and help build the Account Management function from the ground up.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Drive expansion revenue and manage commercial discussions from discovery to negotiation and close across existing accounts.
• Shape processes, collaboration models, and best practices for DataGuard's developing Account Management function.
• Create and execute strategic account plans to uncover upsell, cross-sell, and new use-case opportunities.
• Translate customer needs, regulatory changes, and compliance requirements into commercial success.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Professional Services, and the wider Sales team while reporting directly to the Head of Sales.

Requirements and Benefits

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and bring 5+ years of relevant experience, specifically owning revenue targets across a B2B SaaS book of business or named accounts. You must be fluent in both German and English, thrive in ambiguous environments, and excel at navigating multiple stakeholders to build commercial business cases.
