Director of Operations/Strategy (m/f/x)

exmox GmbH is currently seeking a Director of Operations/Strategy (m/f/x) to join its team in Hamburg. This is a senior-level management position designed for an experienced professional capable of operating in a high-growth, mobile marketing environment. Strategic Operations Management in Hamburg

In this role, you will act as a key partner to the executive team, collaborating with leadership from diverse backgrounds including Activision Blizzard, Deutsche Bank, and Bain & Company. Your mission is to move beyond daily administration to create scalable operational structures and drive the company’s strategic direction. You will be responsible for defining KPIs, identifying operational bottlenecks, and ensuring cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Data Analytics, and Marketing teams.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of business-critical operational functions and coaching leaders to build high-performing teams.
• Leading C-level strategic initiatives, such as entering new geographies or launching new products, from the business case phase through to execution.
• Designing scalable operational processes that eliminate unnecessary complexity while maintaining speed and quality.
• Leveraging automation and AI to reduce manual effort and improve consistency across workflows.
• Translating long-term strategic goals into clear, actionable operational plans.

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
