Head of Product Management (m/w/d) in Stuttgart

Theobald Software GmbH, a leader in the design and development of SAP interfaces with over 20 years of market presence and 1,700 customers worldwide, is seeking a Head of Product Management to join our team in Stuttgart. In this senior-level management role, you will lead the strategic and operational direction of our product portfolio, working closely with our CPTO to drive innovation in SAP and cloud integration.

Strategic Leadership and Product Development

You will be responsible for defining the product roadmap and ensuring its successful execution across development, sales, and marketing. A key part of your role involves analyzing market trends and customer needs to shape our product strategy. You will collaborate directly with our development teams to drive new features, prepare feature stories, and facilitate planning meetings through effective prioritization.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Optimizing product management processes, including the implementation of RICE-based prioritization and design thinking methodologies.
• Engaging with industry analysts to gather competitive insights.
• Representing Theobald Software at trade fairs, conferences, and webinars to communicate our product vision.
• Participating in PreSales calls and identifying new opportunities for feature monetization.
• Maintaining a presence at our Stuttgart headquarters, with an expectation of being on-site approximately two days per week.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should bring the following qualifications:

• A completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software product management, ideally within the SAP integration or cloud technology sectors.
• Strong knowledge of agile development processes and the ability to manage product strategies from both a technical and economic perspective.
• Fluency in both German and English to handle international responsibilities and local events.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
