Meta is seeking a senior-level Data Scientist, Analytics (Technical Leadership) to join its IT team in the USA. In this role, you will work with complex data sets, apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to shape product strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve challenging problems using analytical and statistical approaches with complex data sets.
- Identify and measure success through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and executives to inform product strategy, investment decisions, and data platform development.
- Build long-term vision and strategy for programs, products, and analytics roadmaps.
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education requirements include a PhD, specialized diploma, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a relevant technical/scientific field.
- 5+ years of experience with data querying languages like SQL, scripting languages like Python, or statistical software such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
- 8+ to 10+ years of work experience leading analytics work in an IC capacity, performing complex quantitative analysis in product analytics, and communicating results to leadership.
- Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, experimentation, and causal inference methods.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools for workflow optimization, adhere to responsible AI practices, and maintain ongoing AI skill development.
