DevOps Engineer IT Job in the USA at Cloudbeds
Cloudbeds is hiring a Mid Level DevOps Engineer for a remote IT role based in the USA. This position offers an annual salary between $90,000 and $120,000 USD, with flexibility to consider higher packages depending on your skills and experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect and improve AWS infrastructure and help build the Kubernetes platform.
- Automate platforms using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management.
- Drive engineering projects to production and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Evolve system security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.
- Share DevOps best practices with development teams and participate in an on-call rotation for production outages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer working with AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- 2+ years of strong experience in Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
- Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD/gitops.
- Familiarity with web application servers, databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, cache technologies, and SQS.
- Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting, good networking skills, and strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work remotely as a team player within a global team.
