Director, AI Enablement & Security in the USA

Bloomreach is seeking a senior-level Director, AI Enablement & Security for a full-time IT role based in the USA. Offering a salary range of $200,000 to $250,000, this position requires candidates to hold a Bachelor's degree and bring 10 or more years of professional experience. As part of the Global Information Security and Technology (GIST) leadership team, you will drive safe, efficient, and rapid AI adoption across the global enterprise.

In this leadership position, your primary mandate is to maximize organizational velocity through AI adoption while establishing necessary security controls, financial oversight, and compliance guardrails. You will manage and scale high-performing teams of AI, IT, and Security engineers building core infrastructure, acting as the central operational bridge across departments like Go-To-Market, Product/R&D, HR, Finance, and Legal.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership across business units to identify, prioritize, and accelerate safe AI use cases that drive productivity.
• Lead or co-lead a cross-functional AI Governance Committee and design a company-wide AI readiness and safety education strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and resource multi-disciplinary teams across Information Security, IT, and AI enablement.
• Collaborate with the GRC team, Legal, and the Data Protection Officer to integrate compliance requirements such as the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF.
• Architect and own the enterprise AI FinOps framework with Finance to monitor, forecast, and optimize AI spend and LLM API consumption.
• Oversee technical evaluation and continuous risk profiling for third-party AI platforms.
