Role Overview

In this position, you will lead the group managing Instacart's canary infrastructure and end-to-end deployment tooling. You will partner with product, infrastructure, and service teams to shape how developers safely and efficiently ship code, ensuring high reliability and developer experience across the organization.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• 2+ years of people management experience, with a focus on designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Product-focused background with a strong track record of launching high-impact products.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous technical problems, manage cross-cutting stakeholder relationships, and lead by example in incident triage.
