Enterprise Business Development Representative - East Sales Job in the USA

Chainguard is seeking a senior-level Enterprise Business Development Representative - East to join our sales team in the USA. In this role, you will help secure software supply chains by engaging engineering and security leaders at Fortune 500 enterprises and global organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive enterprise account strategy alongside AEs to map target accounts and entry points across security, platform, and engineering teams.
  • Run thoughtful, technical outbound by crafting personalized outreach for developers, DevOps, and security leaders.
  • Research modern infrastructure environments, including containers, CI/CD, and cloud setups, to ensure credible outreach.
  • Qualify opportunities, lead early conversations, and build high-quality pipeline in collaboration with enterprise AEs using Salesforce and Outreach or Salesloft tools.
  • Provide feedback loops from the market to marketing and product teams.

Requirements and Compensation

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of total experience, and at least 6 months of BDR or SDR experience (or equivalent transferable experience). Candidates must have a proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, strong writing skills for personalized outreach, and a track record of hitting or exceeding targets. The compensation is a $100,000 OTE.
