Senior Field CTO Job in the USA – Sigma Computing Sales Role

Sigma Computing is seeking a senior-level Field CTO to join our sales team in the USA. This is a senior-level position acting as the most senior technical voice in the field, sitting a level above the Solution Architect. In this senior sales capacity, you will own the technical narrative across your territory, shape how the market understands Sigma's architecture, and engage directly with enterprise executives including CTOs, CDOs, and CISOs. You will serve as a force multiplier for the Solution Engineering team and provide a direct feedback line into Product and Engineering.

Core Responsibilities

• Use AI tools daily such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor to compress account prep, architecture design, prototype builds, RFP responses, and discovery synthesis, while setting the standard and teaching workflows to the SE and SA teams.
• Sell AI at the executive level by discussing agents, MCP, A2A, context engineering, and Sigma's AI surface—including Sigma Assistant, AI functions, input tables with LLM enrichment, and warehouse agents—while architecting these into customer stacks and defending tradeoffs to technical buyers and CISOs.
• Sell against AI competition like Databricks Genie, Snowflake Cortex Analyst, or bespoke SI agents, leveraging Sigma's warehouse-native architecture and turning field learnings into competitive teardowns and battlecards.
• Partner with Solution Architects, Solution Engineers, and Enterprise Regional Sales Managers on strategic enterprise opportunities that hinge on architecture, AI strategy, governance, and executive trust.
