While prior software testing experience is a plus, it is not strictly required; Testlio provides free in-house courses and preparatory materials to help you get started.

Role Details and Requirements

• Location: 100% remote across the United States.
• Age and Language: Must be at least 18 years old with advanced or native English proficiency.
• Hardware Requirement: A physical DirecTV Satellite Dish installed at your residence.
• Workload: Freelance, short-term tasks averaging 2 to 4 hours per week, with opportunities to pick up additional work on other projects through your Testlio account.
• Compensation: Paid hourly at $22 USD per hour rather than per bug found, ensuring payment even if no issues are uncovered. Payouts are issued weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.

Testing Focus Areas

You will perform functional, content, and payments testing on the media streaming app. Main tasks include validating that assigned titles are available and playable, confirming that closed captions render and toggle correctly, verifying title discoverability through text and voice search, and confirming channel availability.
