Senior Multimedia Designer / Learning Experience Job in Costa Rica
Varicent is seeking a senior-level Multimedia Designer / Learning Experience professional to join our Customer Success Education team on a remote basis within Costa Rica. In this teaching and education role, you will work within a 13-person team reporting to the Senior Manager, Education Strategy & Development to transform complex technical concepts into engaging visual learning experiences that support product adoption for customers, partners, and employees.
Key Responsibilities and Learning Design Duties
- Create product demonstration videos, animations, motion graphics, visual aids, presentations, GIFs, and reusable templates.
- Partner with Technical Education Developers to translate learning objectives and scripts into effective visual assets.
- Apply visual design principles and adult learning concepts to enhance comprehension and reduce cognitive load.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate content production and prototyping while maintaining quality standards.
- Produce and edit video-based learning content featuring screen recordings, annotations, captions, voiceovers, and motion graphics.
- Develop scalable visual systems and templates for courses, the Varicent Academy (Docebo) platform, and Varicent Community (Gainsight).
- Conduct quality reviews to ensure assets meet accessibility, usability, and accuracy standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of experience creating multimedia, visual, video, or motion design assets for learning, education, enablement, or software-based environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and experience building scalable design systems.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled creative workflows for multimedia production and prototyping.
- Solid grasp of visual design principles including typography, hierarchy, layout, composition, and user experience.
- Proven ability to collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts, backed by strong communication skills.
